Based in the beautiful Lake Macquarie, Bib’n Brace is a family owned Australian manufacturing company, making beautiful architectural joinery such as bespoke doors, mantels, vanities, furniture and shelving from beautiful recycled Australian hardwoods.

About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Wood machinist to work with a variety of Australian hardwoods and equipment. You will be responsible for all wood machining procedures including sizing, moulding and joining timbers for your jobs, plus assembly, which means you will have the satisfaction of seeing a job from start to finish.

About you

- You will be:

• A fully qualified wood machinist, or have a minimum 4 years experience.
• Able to read drawings and compile necessary worksheets 
• Comfortable with basic maths
• Experienced in leading and mentoring newer team members
• Have an eye for detail and appreciation for quality
• Take satisfaction from meeting ambitious production deadlines
• Work with the whole team to exceed customer expectations
• Constantly looking to develop new skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse workforce.  

This is a full time permanent role with a competitive wage, job sharing may be a possibility.
